Parking Today is excited to announce the return of the Parking Industry Exhibition (PIE) to Chicago in 2013. This year, PIE 2013 moves into the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont near O’Hare International Airport. This world-class convention center offers many amenities to provide exhibitors the best possible opportunities to display their products and services. Based on the success of previous Parking Industry Exhibitions, we have learned what our attendees want from an event and also gained tremendous insight into what makes exhibitors successful.

Our aim is to continue to create an intimate atmosphere where PIE exhibitors get together to discuss business with parking professionals from throughout the country and abroad. After all, that is what PIE events are all about. Our job is to connect you with your potential buyers.

As in previous years, we at PIE continue to listen to what vendors and attendees say they want out of an event. Customers want to learn about your products and services without being overwhelmed by bright lights and hoopla. Keeping it simple and intimate offers exhibitors and attendees the opportunity to really communicate in a more enjoyable atmosphere.

PIE 2013 seminars are different this year as well. PIE 2013 will ‘focus’ on three sectors of the parking industry; municipalities, universities, and commercial parking. Each track will be held in the same location, making it easier for attendees to navigate. PIE’s famous ‘Boot Camp’, now known as ‘Command Camp’, will be held at the beginning of the event to better prepare those new to the industry for the exhibition and seminars.

As always, PIE 2013 seminars do not conflict with the trade show, thereby eliminating downtime and ensuring all attendees have an opportunity to spend time on the show floor. Our PIE Cocktail Party is stuff of legend and we will be holding it again. This is a great opportunity to meet and talk to attendees in an informal setting. Speed Networking will be returning and is also a great opportunity for exhibitors to meet many attendees in a fun “speed dating” formatted forum.

Additional amenities include, a ‘buffet style’ food service on the show floor with a variety of sandwiches, pizza, salads, and desserts. Lunch Vouchers are included for exhibitors and paid attendees.
